Our infant/toddler program allows our families to have the flexibility they need between working and providing for their own families. We take pride in knowing our families are getting the best care at an affordable rate and times that work around their schedule. Our teachers are trained in the Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies Gold. We help each child meet the developmentally appropriate goals and to lay the foundations that are so critical in the early years.
Infant learning areas include cozy area for reading and talking to children, exploration area for manipulating and interacting with materials, art and sensory activities, and movement for exploring balance and gross motor skills. Babies feel safe, happy and secure in our bright, clean infant room. Our teachers develop a strong bond with them and work to create a stimulating environment that lays the foundation for growth and development. Infants are allowed to stay on their own individual schedules for feeding.
Toddler learning areas include movement, blocks and manipulatives, art and sensory, pretend play, math, language and literacy. All children have the opportunity for outdoor play that includes a wonderful garden! Positive learning experiences that foster growth and creativity are a focus of our teachers.
The Creative Curriculum® for Infants and Toddlers
As you prepare children for success in school and life, it’s more important than ever to educate the whole child.
Research shows that a whole-child approach to education—one where children develop not only math and literacy skills but also social–emotional, physical, and cognitive skills—is developmentally appropriate and better prepares children for life well beyond their time in a classroom.
